Are you speaking to people. or are you trying to impress them?
The words we choose can have a big impact, or their meaning can get watered-down from overuse.
Take for example the word innovative. It has a great connotation, but when overused it loses much of it’s meaning. In 2012 The Wall St. Journal Nominated “innovation” as the most overused word in business.
We all work to convey excitement and relevance in our communications, but think twice before using the words in the infographic below, and focus on getting the message across in a clear and concise way.
